Ogbom Goodluck Ogbom, Esq. studied law at Madonna University, Okija, Anambra State. Attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos State. His master-of-laws and Ph.D at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. He’s a Notary Public. He has considerable experience and expertise in trial and appellate advocacy in Nigeria, representing individual and institutional clients in all courts.
After his Call and NYSC, Ogbom worked as an associate in a reputable law firm in Port Harcourt. Ogbom has a wealth of experience in litigation.
His practice areas cover real estate transactions, taxation, commercial, wills, living trust and trust instruments, corporate practice and estate succession in probate and administration, family law, contract, and commercial law. He has been active at the Bar since his Call and has written over 100 articles on different areas of law. He is also involved in a mentorship Programme for young lawyers and has mentored several young lawyers. He is a public speaker and has been invited to speak on topical issues.
Ogbom, is the past President of the Governing Board of the Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Alumni Association, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Where he had his Diploma-in-Law. And has also served the Nigerian Bar Association, in different committees and the Port Harcourt Branch, including the young lawyers’ Executives, and later became the Chairman of Eastern Bar Young Lawyers Forum and past Chairman of Modanna University Alumni Association, Rivers State Chapter.
He is currently the Head of Taxation at Law Freight Attorneys and has served as a member, The Nigerian Bar Association Law Reform Committee under the leadership of Olumide Akpata and later served as a member, Nigerian Bar Association Anti-corruption committee that works hand-in-hand with the anti corruption agencies in Nigeria.
Ogbom is married with two children.
